Learning any form of dance
can be totally involving because you connect with other people who love to
dance. In this section we have listed a
few of the dance communities that have developed their own ways of getting
together socially. Connecting with a
dance community is the easiest way to keep up to date with parties, events,
auditions, venues, and bands related to a particular style of dance. Some communities have forums, websites, and
e-mail lists to foment communication between community members and share
relevant information. Dance community
members can share advice, review venues, events, and performances, carpool to
events, and find partners to practice with.
Best of all, becoming active in a particular dance community is a great
way to make some fun, new dancing friends!
