Michelle Denny, Owner and Director of Dance Discovery holds a degree in Early Childhood Education. She has been teaching since 1989 and has over 25 years of experience as a dancer.

American Ballet Theatre's Summer Intensive Performance Friday, Aug. 6 at 11:00am and 3:00pm
B. Iden Payne Theatre at the University of Texas in Austin campus
$12 general admission and may be purchased at the door.

Performance includes American Ballet Theatre repertory from Swan Lake, Sleeping Beauty, Paquita, Raymonda, and others, as staged by Ronald Tice, Christine Spizzo, George de la Pena, Larry Pech, and Jolinda Menendez. Also on the program is new choreography by Holly Williams of UT's Theatre and Dance Dept., and ABT faculty choreographers Rodney Gustafson and Larry Pech.This is the fourth year for the ABT Summer Intensive to be held in Austin, hosted by the University of Texas Department of Theatre and Dance. One hundred thirty-sevnen dancers from across theUnited States, 12-17 years of age, are participating in the four-week dance workshop.

Zilker Theater Productions and Footworks Dance Center are proud to introduce Austin's newest Fine Arts training and outreach program, THE ZILKER ACADEMY AT FOOTWORKS. The Academy will present a comprehensive youth fine arts program, and expand on the existing Footworks adult dance and fitness classes. The schedule for both Zilker Academy and Footworks classes has been fully integrated, resulting in classes being available for everyone from age 3 up.

The YOUTH SERIES, sub-divided by level and age, offers classes in Voice, Dance, Acting, Musical Theatre, Radio/TV/Film, and playwriting for ages 3 and up. Choose from classes in the Parent/Child Division, Discovery Division, Development Division or Masters Division. The HOME SCHOOL SERIES offers musical theatre classes during daytime hours for the convenience of home schooled children.
